Save Darfur Coalition / United to End Genocide

As contract communications director, oversaw strategic messaging and managed team responsible for media relations, online communications and marketing; orchestrated media strategy for Sudan embassy demonstration, where arrest of members of Congress, celebrities, civil rights and faith leaders resulted in widespread media attention on atrocities in Sudan.

Managed all aspects of a multi-million dollar advertising campaign that helped Save Darfur Coalition raise nearly $4 million in online donations; led high-paced media campaign that garnered widespread coverage of rally in Central Park, New York City (as sub- contractor to M+R Strategic Services).

Oversaw development and execution of stakeholder outreach and communications strategy for merger of Save Darfur Coalition and Genocide Intervention Network into United to End Genocide.
